I admit, Ive become addicted to it.... Teen Mom2

Jenelle---I was impressed by Jenelle's mom this week. Like seriously impressed. She didnt yell, she just honestly seemed to be concerned about Jenelle moving away with her financial aid money from school, and Keiffer not having a job. I believe her worries about Jenelle winding up broke are definitely justified, and she wasnt rude about the way she approached it.. AND when Jenelle got upset, she let it go, which has been an issue for both of them, knowing when the discussion has become an argument and knowing to just let it go.

Chelsea---Her storyline was pretty uneventful, I think there is nothing wrong with getting a GED, but if she hasnt learned enough from what schooling she has taken, she may not pass that the first time either. The more I see the boyfriend sit on his ass without a job or help out with the baby, the more I really believe her moving him in was a dumb dumb dumb move. He cant even wake up to watch his daughter so that Chelsea can go take care of school things.

Kailyn---Yeah. While I dont sympathize with Jo, and think the text he sent was completely shitty, he makes a very valid point, that 2 jobs and school to have her own place leaves no time for her son. I dont think they should move in to a house together just because they have a child, but I hate the way she appears to just want her cake and eat it to... She refers to their split as a break. Like she will go out try a few guys out and when she's done she might come back. I think in that aspect she is kind of leading him on, and I think its shitty. I think his heart might be in the right place, and he is just too immature to deal with the situation or circumstances the right way. I think they would benefit from counseling, both together and separate. Together because regardless of whether they remain a couple or split they have a child together and they need to learn to communicate for that child. There are enough vindictive hateful people out there with children together than have bitter fights and evil words about their ex in front of the kids. In the end it just screws the kids up.

Leah---I thought Corey's fishing trip was adorable, and the constant smile on his face speaks volumes about how he feels about Leah. I think with the support of their families, they are going to do just fine.

Sunday... only 4 days behind

www.Im working hard to catch you up on my weekend.

Sunday Jess and I went to  Fort Knox Kentucky to visit our friend from the Zone, Michelle. I have met Michelle before but this was a first for Jess.  The drive up wasnt bad. The weather outside was actually kinda nice. We had a good time just sitting around and talking. Sometimes some good adult conversation is the best thing there is. At one point lil dude came hopping down the hall, taped to a chair. He was their "hostage" LOL  I am very impressed that Michelle's baby who just turned 2 last month, is just about potty trained. Wish baby J would take a lesson from her! Here are some pictures from our journey.

Jack Daniel's Distillery

Saturday Jess and I headed out on an adventure with my friend Lisa (owner of the WONDERFUL Yumyum's Donuts of Murfreesboro TN) We rode down to the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg TN.

Our tour photo... Im in the back blonde head behind the big head in the front posing with his hand in his pocket LOL Jess is right in front of me and Lisa is the blonde right behind her :)

So we took the tour of the distillery and learned some interesting facts. Like Jack Daniels bought his still from a preacher when he was 14 years old. He became the first registered distillery in the US history.  Jack was only 5 ft 2 inches tall and wore a size 4 shoe. WOW. Tiny man.

Allergic to life

Friday I took a shower and applied some lotion I have been using on my face for over a month (bought it before Christmas). Never had any issues with it at all.

Then my face started to feel hot, hives, flushed, swelling. :seeingstars I have random allergies so not that big of a deal. :shakehead By the time I got to the airport to pick up Jess I'm pretty sure I was resembling the Nutty Professor. However both Jess and my dd were wonderful and lied and told me I just looked like I had a sun burn :snicker that evening we decided maybe I should go buy benedryl and hydrocortisone cream. People in walmart were seriously STARING at me. :hide I felt tempted to run my hand across my face and wipe it on them.... but I didn't. :nocomment

Then the next morning came :freakout My eyes were puffy swollen shut, my face itched something fierce. :banghead and we were headed to visit friends. I snagged an icepack from the freezer and rode the 100 miles to our friends house with it on my face off and on. benedryl all day, and for the most part it wasnt too bad by Sunday.

I have to say Im grateful to Jess who didnt take any facial pictures of me during those days (or if she did she didnt tell me LOL)

I dont get it though. Been using that lotion for quite awhile with no problems. :dunno

I know I mentioned it...

That I hate this weather right?  Yep Wednesday and Thursday nights storm along with the 4 degree temperatures confirm it. Spring is no where to be found, thats for sure. The kids have gone crazy, having suffered through 11 snow days off from school already (not consecutive) and today makes 12.  Of course come November I will be saying "I wish it would snow!" So be sure to remind me at that point in time, about what a hypocrite I am about the weather LOL

Heading home from school when it first started...

So warm!
right off the back deck... just under 8 inches.
Snow, snow and yep more snow!
The chicken coop... they couldnt get to the nesting boxes this morning, not that it matters they are molting right now and not laying anyway.
The chicken wire on TOP of the coop, sagging under the weight of so much snow. How it stuck to the wire and didnt just fall into the coop, Ill never know.

Snow pigs! not really, they like to hang out in the barn, but came out to greet me and beg for a meal.

Sissy thinks that pig food tastes better than dog food. Maybelle, being the pig that she is, squealed at Sissy and tried to BITE her... all over a little bit of pig food.
As much as I am tired of the cold weather, I must admit it is stunningly beautiful :)

Sissy isnt real fond of the snow/ I think she was on the deck looking for a way back into the house.
Zhuie wasnt fond of it either! he sat at my feet shivering and whining the entire time we were outside.
Little John my snow dog :)

The groundhog is a liar

Im pretty sure of it. Spring is no where around the corner. Im not even sure it plans to appear at all this year. All I know is that the weather man is a liar too. He said 1-2 inches of snow possible. I got 7-8.  Is there any accuracy to weather forecasts, or is it just a matter of standing in front of a camera and looking like you know what the heck you are talking about?

I hope their inaccuracy stands true through Wednesday and Thursday.... when they are calling for another UP TO 8 damn inches of this crap. The first few times this year were fun, not, not so much. I let my dog out to use the potty... I saw his tail, and nothing more sticking up out of a snow drift by the fence.  I dont think he thought much of the snow either.

Snow!

It's official, I hate kindergarten

Hate it. Loathe it. Germs germs everywhere. For 5 years I lil dude got sick maybe twice. Seriously we never really got colds in the house, we got the swine flu thanks to Sam in 2009.  Beyond that and a sniffle here or there, this kid was never sick. No mysterious fevers, no horrible hacking in the middle of the night, no puking or diarrhea.

Then we went to kindergarten. We have had puking, we have had diarrhea, we have had a hacking cough more times than I can count. Today we have a hacking cough (that has lasted ALL weekend) we have a fever that has been hit and miss all weekend, and we have an earache. I know they want you to learn to share, but this is one thing I would rather they didn't!

Sure we were super lucky for 5 yrs, I get that. Why cant we be lucky for 5 or 10 more? Too much to ask? Probably so. So we have called into school today, unfortunately I JUST scheduled 8 jobs this morning for today, and there's no backing out of those just because my little one is ill. So Ill call the pediatrician get him seen, and I guess ask Sam to watch him, its not like the girls weren't already exposed to the hacking cough all weekend.  UGH. I hate kindergarten and the sharing of germs.
